Stereoselective total synthesis of bioactive natural products and development of novel synthetic methodologies involving pi-activation induced cascade annulations

Dr. Ravindar Kontham's research interests include the development of novel cascade/domino reactions involving main group and transition metal catalysis and their application in the stereoselective total synthesis of bioactive natural products, the design and synthesis of new chemical entities for drug discovery applications, as well as chemical process development for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and API intermediates
