Proteomics Facility is a state-of-the-art facility comprising of SYNAPT-HDMS equipped with nanoLC, ESI, and MALDI sources, two dimensional electrophoresis (2DE), gel documentation system, western blotting, fast protein liquid chromatography etc. The primary goal of this facility is to facilitate protein identification, quantification and characterization in various R&D projects, for better understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved in biological processes. In the last few years, CSIR- NCL has made significant contributions to the area of mass spectrometry-based proteomics research.
