The central NMR facility provides state-of-the-art NMR spectroscopic techniques in solution and solid state to scientists in all areas of research of interest to NCL. Structural elucidation of organic and bio-organic molecules, microstructural analysis of polymers, NMR of molecular self assemblies, gels, solid state NMR of polymers, zeolites and other inorganic materials, diffusion by pulse field gradient NMR, micro imaging and identification of polymorphs by solid state NMR are some of the areas of current interest.
