National Magnetic Resonance Society (NMRS) is organizing its 13th annual symposium (NMRS-2007) at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. As a part of NMRS-2007, a two-day special symposium on “Current Trends in Solid State NMR Methodology and Practice” will be held during the first two days. This symposium will deal with the various methodological developments and advancements which are expanding the frontiers of solid state NMR in diverse application areas, including biology. Regular NMRS scientific sessions, which will be arranged during the third and fourth days, will include plenary as well as invited lectures by eminent scientists from various national, international labs, academic institutions and instrument manufacturers. Short presentations and poster sessions by students and young researchers are also planned. Two or three best posters will be awarded cash prizes by the NMRS.
