Please read the following instructions very carefully
List of documents to be submitted at the time of registration/verification:
1. Admit Card
2. Signed hard copy (print out) of the application form
3. Attested copy of JRF offer letter or a copy of the hall ticket of the JRF examination
4. Any photo identification card (only for verification)
5. Copies of all relevant certificates
6. Originals of all certificates including the hall ticket for verification
7. Any other relevant document for proof of identity, qualification, etc.
Shortlisted candidates (links to list at the bottom) are requested to download the format for Admit Card from the link provided below and bring a duly filled and signed hard copy (print out) of the same with recent passpost size photograph affixed. Also, candidates must confirm their attending the screening test/interview by registering at the registration form provided at the bottom of this page, before 23/11/2012.
Shortlisting is made under the disciplines of Biological, Chemical and Physical Sciences based on the qualifications of the candidates entered in the application form. If the names of any qualified candidates are incorporated in a different discipline or missing from the list of shortlisted candidates in any discipline (due to error in the registration number and date of examination in the application form), they are requested to inform by email to sao@ncl.res.in on or before 5:30 PM on November 16, 2012. Such candidates are requested to include their name, application number, correct roll number (or any other number in the published list of JRF examination results on the internet) in the JRF examination and the correct date of examination in the body of the mail. They will be informed about their selection under an appropriate discipline by email or a supplementary list will be uploaded.
Important Instructions:
Biological and Chemical Sciences:
A written test will be conducted for the disciplines of Biological and Chemical Sciences on 04 December 2012 at 9:00 AM. The test will be of objective type and the duration of the test will be 2 hours. All the shortlisted candidates are requested to report at the Auditorium, Main Building, CSIR-NCL, at 8:00 AM, on 04/12/2012 for verification and registration. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall after 8:15 AM. Candidates should be seated in the examination halls by 8:45 AM. All candidates are requested to bring a black/blue ink ball point pen for writing the examination.
The list of selected candidates called for interview, based on the marks obtained for the written test along with the academic performance will be published between 12:00 and 1:00 PM on 04/12/2012. The interviews will start at 2:00 PM on 04/12/2012.
Physical Sciences:
Interviews for Physical Science discipline will be conducted on 05/12/2012. Candidates shortlisted under this discipline are requested to report at the Auditorium, Main Building, NCL, at 9:00 AM, on 05/12/2012 for verification and registration.
Candidates without producing the Admit card and signed hard copy of the application form shall not be allowed to appear for the screening test/interview.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the shortlisted candidates for attending the screening test/interview and they will have to make their own arrangement for accommodation.
