NCL Alumni Association (NAA) formed in August 1994 is a forum for interaction between NCL scientists, alumni and research students. NAA membership is open to all who have received a degree by virtue of working at NCL as well as to NCL scientists. At present, there are nearly 200 members who are residing in India and abroad.

The executive committee of the association consists of the president, two vice presidents, the general secretary, two joint secretaries, the treasurer and five members. The Director, NCL is the president of the association. The other members are elected.

The activities of the association are: 

· Organizing lectures, seminars, symposia, exhibitions, visits, competitions etc. to promote interaction between alumni, industry and NCL.

·  Facilitation of placement (Jobs, post doctoral fellowships) of students globally.

·  Felicitation of members for meritorious achievements.

·  Organizing alumni-students meetings for academic and cultural interactions.
